Books4Life Maastricht is going on holidays.
From December 19th to January 9th will the store be closed.
We wish all volunteers and costumers merry Christmas, a happy new year and a great and relaxing holiday! Thank you for your great work!
From Monday 9th January we will be opened for you again!

Book Donation

We are pleased to announce that the book review editors of the Journal of Common Market Studies have donated over 20 new books to Books4Life. The books cover a wide range of themes, including the EU policy process, comparative politics, history and law. Prices are much lower than those set by the respective publishers. If you are interested, do come and check out the offer in our shop at Grote Gracht 80-82.

Books4Life takes part in the Open Day of the Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht! We will be presented with a stand and two Guided tours. The Open Day takes place at the 20th of November. At this day entry to the museum is free!

“Books & Arts”- Guided Tours in “Augenspiel” and “Extended Drawing” are going to be at 12:30 and 15:30!

Books4Life goes on Autumn Break!

Hello friends of Books4Life! This year Books4Life is going to have an Autumn Break!

From 24. October to 28. October 2011 the store will be closed!

So come buy this week to get some reading for the Break!

From October 31 we will be open again!

Welcome new volunteers!

A warm welcome to all our new volunteers.

Since a couple of weeks they have been working in the shop, alongside the boardmembers and CAS- students!

Still there are some empty shifts to fill so if you feel like taking care of our beautiful bookstore, take part in creating a more sustainable community, get engaged with students or just like reading great books then sign up for volunteering at: books4lifemaastricht@gmail.com !

We also still have some vacant Board positions! Do you like distributing work or plan and hold meetings with agroup of dynamic and motivated students? Then apply and become the chair of Books4Life Maastricht.

Do you enjoy getting involved with people, take care of contacts and socialize? Then you might be the right person to take on the task as volunteers- managers!

Last but not least we are searching for creative and motivated people to join our Promotionteam. We design the campaigns for Books4Life and launch events together with other student organisations! We will also keep this webiste updated as well as facebook!

Want to get active in the student community? Interested in sustainability issues? Then come to the Sustainability BBQ and Info-Market: Get to know Maastricht’s student sustainability movement, its organizations, people and projects.

Despite differing prior communication, the BBQ going to be a meat-free event…In an effort to provide you not only with the opportunity to meet Maastricht’s sustainability movement, but to also enjoy a truly sustainable event, a range of delicious local, organic and vegetarian BBQ items, salads and drinks will be served…

Books4Life is opened again!

Holidays are over and we hope that all of you have spend a relaxing summer with a lot of reading. To refresh your reading- supply, to buy your study books cheap and of course to hang out and read with a cup of coffee we are opened again!

Check out our store in the basement of FASoS!

Books4Life goes on holidays

The academic year on FASoS is over and we hope that you have had the chance to buy your books for holidays in our shop already because we are on holidays from now until beginning of September!

Looking back on this year we see that much work has been done. We hosted several events, moved from one shop to another and still kept the shop running all the time.

This wouldn’t have been possible without you! Dear Volunteers, you did a great job this year. Thos of you who go abroad: Good luck and happy return! Those of you who stay: Your most welcome to join us next year again!

Enjoy your holidays with a good book and dont forget, if you read it you want to share it with more people: From September on the Shop will be open again so you can donate books and buy new ones!
